Here is a question for the experts of FB. I been playing about with Quickload. l put in 45grs of Rel 7 plus 300gr Speer jhp. the estimated muzzle velocity is 2041 fps. The pressure is 26,606 fps max for this rifle [Pedisoli Sharps is 29,500psi.] Putting this information into Sierra Suite 16 ballistic program and the estimated moa at 1000yds is 126.8 moa. My question is it possible to convert moa to inches ? so l could use the Sierra suite16 to calculate the elevations of any loads l may use. l believe 3.5 inches is about average for 1000yds.

Re: Converting MOA to inches on my Sharps
I MOA is just over 1" at 100 yrds, 2" at 200 yrds and so on, at 1000 yrds it would be 10.47".
Take it from there, however that 126.8 looks a bit suspect.

Re: Converting MOA to inches on my Sharps
1 moa = 1" at 100 yds 5" @500yds and you guessed it 10" @ 1000yds (roughly)
So 126.8moa = 1268" or 105 foot drop or 32m in new money !
It helps to think of range corrections in angular units by the way rather than drop ?
There is a reason long range tang sights were so tall on the old sharps LR rifles !
