Salut ,

The War & Peace show is on this Week-End.

Beside the vehicules on display , it is probably the best place on earth once a year to find all the bits & pieces and accessories to go with your Mil-surp rifles you can possibly imagine :good:

I went yesterday, the venue seemed nice. The friend I was with bought a very nice obsolete calibre Schmidt Rubin

First visit and loved it, especially chatting to Oddball, bought more tat than I could carry home - luckily stashed a load in a mates 101 who was camping over.

I prefered the Hop Farm location, Arena and the Living History area was a lot better, carpark at the new venue is a car suspension killer and massive queue to pay as they only had one credit card machine working, we went on the first day and it was mega hot with no real cover so we fried.

Re-
Agreed the Hop Farm was a much much nicer venue. However it did not make much difference to the two 8 yrs old I was taking who were in absolute tanks heaven ! :good:
In between climbing on ever single vehicules on sight and having their pic taken on various living history camps I unfortunatly did not have too much time for shopping. Still managed to pick couple of bits and pieces and got lucky with some nice BZE39 I needed.
