looking for ideas to set up a fixed work bench for my reloading, after looking on USA sites at whole rooms with 7 or 8 presses i decided i need a reality check, so lets see some loading benches that work in the uk living space.

I started of with a black and decker workmate with a lee turret press bolted to it many years ago. I used to set it up in the kitchen then pack it all away when I had finished. You don't need loads of room you do need a solid surface to mount your press on though.

don't mount the press too near a corner of a worktop. I managed to break a big chunk off of the corner of a kitchen cabinet. Luckily its in my shed.

Ok, here's mine (not at its most tidy!), I have 4 Lee presses and use the bench mounting plate to swap between them, I need to fit a longer wall shelf as it was only designed for 3 presses but I bought another!

That's a great setup, mate. I like the presses on storage shelf idea. Mine's a mess!

I bought some spare clasps for the bench plate system and fixed them to the shelf so the presses just slide in and get kept in place.

Having had a think about it I'm going to take a shelf all the way across so it's fixed to the tops of both of the shelved cabinets as well as the wall brackets, should give it more support (cavity wall).

Unfortunately having down-sized into a 2 bed bungalow there's not a lot of spare space, both gun cabinets and ammo safes are in the rather large Ikea wardrobe as that's on the only outside wall I have with enough space for them to fix into, thankfully PC Plod thought it was a great idea

Just back from Ponteland range, brass de-primed/resized, shoved in the washing machine for 15mins to get most of the crud out and now happily going round in the stainless tumbler for a couple of hours while I have a cup of tea and feed the kids, not a bad day really

ive seen Jeffs set up first hand, and its spot on.
ive got about half the bench space of jeffs above, and it works for me at the mo.no doubt I will need more space when I get more into reloading.

That looks great, I've just had a work bench delivered that I plan to set up this evening, won't be as flash as your setup but hopefully will still look and work ok.

Anyone else got some pics to share?
