That's pretty sloppy journalism sensationalising an incident by comparing it to the mass shootings of Whitehaven.
There are regular incidents, even here in the overly regulated UK, where people are shot - not just with unlicensed firearms either.
Comparing the above shooting this way in the media is just lazy reporting in my opinion.
