I have a lot of love for Mosin Nagants, personally own a M44, my Dad however, wanting a scoped rifle bought himself a PU sniper.

Thanks for the Kind comments guys n dolls!

Christel. It is huge with the bayonet on, and weighs quite a bit!

Neil. Ooh! It's a bit rare! Great one. Really looking forward to shooting this one and stirring the TR guys up a bit!

Dave. Cracking photos of your Dads Mosin and to be honest I would like a flame throwing M44!

Please feel free to post as many photo's of Mosin's on this thread. As much info on them would be great!

Just a thought!
What about possible sticky's or specific info section on specific rifles which people can add for reference?
ie. K98, Mosin, Enfield etc? Just an idea for the one stop, know everything forum.

And finally, how to use the stripper clips, rim over rim and pulling the top of the upper round upwards as you push down on the back of the case.

Very nice little rifle Dave!

As Jim Carey would say 'I like it alot'!!

I don't think you can have so much fun for so little money shooting em.

Cracking little outfit you got there. Good stock too. What max distance do you shoot out to?

There's a whole thread on it elsewhere upon these august fora !

We shoot mainly at 300 yards, occasionally at 600 yards. It's quite up to the job.

Managed to get to shoot the Mosin on Saturday afternoon at 600yards at Bisley with the sun on my back. tongueout
Didn't do to bad in the end after spraying them all over the target I managed to get two V's in a row then finished with a four. Happy Days!
