I'm still waiting - the firearms manager is of sick until the 28th May and they won't move 'til she's back - screws me up for the Phoenix!
I thought nobody is indispensable but not in Durham it seems!

I take it when you bang-in a variation you can 'carry-on as normal'?

I would just like to know what they are trying to achieve?
The more resource they expend on unnecessary issues, the more they will miss on cases demanding the extra resource!
The consequence will be more errors, not less.
80 - 20 rule ie 80% of your effort on the worst 20% of your problems. Simple really.

I just had the call to say it's ok and can be collected (on Monday). Taking it right to the wire.

Excellent! so now you can stop spending time worrying and get on with casting my bullets troutslapping

Joking aside, it's great news, I completely agree with the 80 - 20 rule, it's something Durham are seriously in need of applying, the amount of unnecessary work they're making for themselves is ridiculous.
