In what respect - cleaning, polishing ,clogging flash-holes or something else?

All of the above! The stuff I use is coarser in texture by the looks of it and has the irritating knack of filling bottlenecked cases up to the neck - unclogging can be a right pain.

Cleaning/polishing is good but unclogging the cases and flash holes, not so fun. Having said that, with pistol calibre and 45-70 brass it's quite good.

Ok, thanks. That was my worry. I've seen walnut blast media that is specifically graded to between 400 and 900µ, but I don't think lizards a quite that fussy about where they crap.
