If you cannot get once fired then your are as well buying Prvi ammunition at around £67/100 enjoying shooting it and then having the fire formed cases for your rifle that you definitely know how many times they have been fired, rather than paying the £40 for just the cases.

I'm assuming its 7.62x54R for the Moisin Nagant that you are talking about.

Re: 7.62x54 Brass
Thanks for the information.
I fancy a M44 after looking at a few of the others.
They all look ample for what I need to use them for.

Re: 7.62x54 Brass
I have been using this method on my 223 but I am finding the cases only last 2-3 reloads even if I anneal them. I don't know if you buy just the cases they will last any longer or if the bigger cases are more resilient.dromia wrote:If you cannot get once fired then your are as well buying Prvi ammunition at around £67/100 enjoying shooting it and then having the fire formed cases for your rifle that you definitely know how many times they have been fired, rather than paying the £40 for just the cases.

Re: 7.62x54 Brass
Hi, Landy Dave,
Is your 223 brass PPU or some other make as I get 5-6 reloads out of my brass PPU Lapua & Remington, once F/L sized & trimmed I only neck size them after that. You should get more than 2-3.
