Thanks for all the replies so far, anyone else want to chip in on the original post?

Looking for accurate load ranges to research and test around to find the best loads for my rifle...at the moment i use 46 grains of N140 @2900fps but can run 46.5 with no signs of any pressure problems but I'm conscious that speed doesn't always mean accuracy (although I still need to be moving for an accurate 1000yd load)

sign92 any????

Seeking the best load is not something that is ever 'done'. Have you tested the current load? Velocity might be a bit light on the original two bullets mentioned but if the hybrids work you could get away with it. Not got on with N140 myself, but plenty do. That said I may have no choice soon due to US powder shortage :(

Mr Logic,

Hopefully you might not notice it over there unless it's already biting. Things are more or less getting back to normal over here powders wise, there was a fair few powders that were like hens teeth for a while but I'm now seeing well stocked shelves at my local haunts and also online as well.

It is already biting. Certainly at Norman Clark - no Varget, no H4895 and "not likely to get any more this year"

For the remainder of the year? How come? Like I said it's more or less back to normal over here.

Then buy European, there's no shortage of good European powders.

Yes there is. There's Vit which I already said doesn't work for me, and then there's Vectan which involves Peter Lawman and is not happening. What else is there?
