The 6K semi or the 40K full auto? Obviously given that we could and I could afford it? Go on, have a stab in the dark.....!!!
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Wonder what a straight-pull single shot version would cost?

The MG34 was a much nicer MG IMO. Machined V Pressed Steel, no contest. Same thing with the MP38 and the MP40, the MP38 would win every time.
Re: If you could have one would you get one?
A chap local to me had a semi auto MG34 prior to the ban on self loading rifles and was about to buy a MG42 when the ban came in. He collected rifles and pistols of the Nazi era and would only buy those that had the approriate Nazi markings. It was quite fun to shoot but while expensive or at least it seemed so at the time it wasn't the sort of money that this advertisment talks of.
He also had a MP38 for a time but there were problems with that and he had to get it deactivated. The problem being that if he used low powered ammo the disconnector didn't work and it went full auto.

My head says, "Yes, that would be a problem". My heart says "Hell, Yeah! What problem?!!" :shakeshout:

Well if the yanks would have to pay $6k for it, and you use the US/UK AR-15 conversion rate (before the buying hysteria in the US) i would guess £6-10k :roll:saddler wrote:Wonder what a straight-pull single shot version would cost?
