US Firearms Bill - Senate vote - Live C-Span

#1 Post by HALODIN »

Seems the US Senate is voting on gun violence protection now and they're currently voting to see if they will move the Firearms Bill forward. 60 "aye" votes are needed.

Some action is needed in the States so it isn't really a surprise I guess. The devil will be in the detail and what amendments get added in and what gets binned!
It's not the pace of life that concerns me, it's the sudden stop at the end!

NO ACTION NEEDED!

Not in the guise of or in any shape of gun control anyway. This is first step to registration and confication..

Deal with the REAL issues, not a load of bollox. Loophole on olinse alses, i thoink not. 40% sales are private, i think not! Criminals meanwhole do not give a toss. Sandy hook loonytune was caught out by background checks...and sod all happened.

Still trying to stop boaking after watching Meeshell Obama and her stomach churning "ACT" on TV....why does she not go talk to the black gangstas, like the one that shot the schoolkid she was wittering on about! As for Bidens "Ferrari" comments, words fail me, the man is a buffoon!

A sad and very wrong step in the wrong direction IMO.

At least there is one or two who do not follow the liberal line fed to them.

Thing is Chuck it's the bollox, 'populist' issues that sit well with the Liberals/Socialists (and even the pro-gunners that are on the fence) because they don't require them to actually think.

I'm slowly dying inside listening to all this; I shudder to think what you guys must be feeling like. :bad:

Agreed, the mugs and deluded fools who trust politicians listen to what they hear ......not what's important - they fail to use rational thought and look ahead. This is just misinformation on a grand scale.

I know my own personal US friends and blu etc on here have a more positive outlook, I hope they are correct - me personally I just see a load of gun confiscation sh1t that could hit a big fan in time.

In Colorado, 70% of the Sheriffs and Police chiefs have written a letter to the State Governor stating they will not enforce the new anti gun laws recently signed into law because they are unconstitutional. Also as these Sheriffs are elected officials the Governor can't sack them.
