50 m prone championships

Can anyone give me a simple explanation of the difference between the ESSU 50 m championships, on 5th May, and the NSRA 50 m championships held on June 7-9th?
Thanks

The ESSU is a confined entry to members of the English Smallbore Shooting Union. The International 50m meeting is open entry

neither really, the British Champion is competed for at the NSRA meeting in August, that's the Lord Roberts Competition which is shot over three Stages on the last Friday and Saturday.
