Blast from the past.

I have just read a very a very interesting e-mail. It was from the owner of the estate where for many years I and a good friend would go to stalk the Hinds. He is a smashing chap and he acted as the Stalker. He is retired now and his son is running the estate. He is writing a book about his years running the estate and is looking for interesting stories to put in it. Happy Happy days


From the e-mail.

I AM WRITING A BOOK!

Yes it’s the story of my time at ...........,trying to incorporate all those happy times on the hill. I have got to the time when T encouraged me to go over the Eas Riochan dam in the Argocat in a flood and we nearly lost the Argo. I have just written the bit when you say to me at the target ‘ come on J have a go with this’ and then you pull a Winchester repeater, a la Cowboys, out of your gunslip. Of course I miss the target a number of times much to your delight!

Any way if I get to finish it I will let you know…..or if you think of other silly incidents you will let me know.
