If you are outside the Office remember your flipflops. With the gravel it's like being on a beach there :shakeshout:

At least the water will drain better!

We are currently dithering over either going on the gravel area or on the grass opposite. The gravel is appealing however we need to put four internal stakes down to hold the stand in place and I am not sure what is under the gravel, if it is concrete and a windy weekend we have a bit of a problem.

I really have not mastered this photography lark yet...

This is the M75 (Model 75) chassis system in the white, that is without the final surface finish. The first run of chassis systems will be vapour honed and then type 3 hard black anodised, this gives a satin finish that is hard and very smooth to the touch, those of you that have seen the first of the M59 receivers will have seen this finish already. Once anodised the tube is laser etched with the Action Clear logo, the Shooting SHED script and the model details 'C.G INCH M75' The laser gives a very precise finish and is vastly superior to engraving in applications such as this in my opinion.

So what can you see?

Centre piece is the standard M75 chassis designed to accept the C.G INCH action, the rear stock interface rod is quickly removed by means of a latch screw just behind the grip on the underside of the chassis. This means the rear section can be removed in a matter of seconds to enable the bolt to be removed and for cleaning. The rear tube section is available with two options, the 'one piece' shown here plus an identical system with an integrated recoil buffer which adds a few grams.

Moving back is the cheek piece bracket, this is reversible for left and right handed shooters and will have a scale laser etched on the side to allow the shooter to return the cheek piece to the same position if they shoot in different positions. The cheek piece sits on a ladder type bracket so it can be raised and lowered in increments of 1,5mm, additionally it can be moved forward and back and also canted through the rifle axis, this means you can offset the cheek piece either side of centre to suit your exact fit.

Behind this is the rear butt plate which can be moved up/down, forward/back plus offset so it is infinitely adjustable within the constraints of the chassis system. Above the main system is the optional stock interface rod with recoil buffer viewed from the other side so you can see the cheek piece in more detail. The cheek piece is covered with a nitrile rubber pad for comfort.

Below is the optional wooden hand grip I am working on at present. Ultimately this will be available in a couple of sizes and will be an optional extra.

What you cannot see.

The rear bag rider tube is not shown, this will be attached via a ladder bracket to allow the position of the rear bag rider tube to be adjusted up and down, again the ladder will be laser etched so you can note the position for future reference.

Not shown is the optional lightweight front tube T Rail for attaching a bipod or front bag rider.

Not shown is the optional lower tube that gives a better palm swell for Target and Match rifle shooters, this lower tube section features a T Slot for the attachment of hand stops and sling.

The important thing to bear in mind is this is not a single rifle, it is a rifle system that can cater for many disciplines, be it Target Rifle or F Open or something in between. The C.G INCH Actions allows the user to quickly change the barrel at the firing point without the use of tools other than their hands so you could shoot TR with the rifle in the morning, head out to the firing point after lunch and in a matter of very few minutes swap the barrel for a .284 heavy barrel, replace the palm swell with a bag rider, fit the rear bag rider tube and finally add your own 'scope and subject to zeroing you are ready to go. I estimate the time taken to make this transition to be under 5 minutes with nothing more than a Hex Key...

All up weight of the basic chassis system including the action is just over 3,0kgs. All you need to do is add a barrel and sights.

This is the culmination of many months of input from Robert Chombart (RGC) of CG fame, Chris Quatermaine of Action Clear and myself in the Shooting SHED and I do like it...

Best of all it is Made in England.

I like the grip. :good:

Very similar to the Tubb 2000 concept but a sleeved action as opposed to an integral.

Yes the grip is rather nice, thank you for the loan... tongueout

The M75 does differ from the T2000 in that it has a three lug rear locking target action with one piece tube chassis plus the cheek piece adjustment is very different and offers a lot more flexibility of adjustment. The T2000 is a repeater where as this is a single shot however hot on the heels of this chassis system is the new M66 which is available as a single shot or repeater, utilises the AICS type magazine, as with the M75 it is fitted with the new C.G trigger and uses the new integral M59 type lightweight receiver system, what it does not have is the ability to quick change the barrel, other than that the majority of the M75 specification applies.
