It was used in Southern Rhodesia and after that went to Australia bashing kangaroos ,the old chap I got it from made no mention of efferlumps but wildebeest and gazelles were mentioned for the pot and various things we don't shoot now ( poachers do ), it came back to Scotland and saw off plenty of reds and roe .He also had a 2A1 Enfield when supplies of .303 dried up so he could use .308. When he died I bought them and his shotguns .
