Going back to the first post under this thread. Bobby Turnbull says that ""this has exposed some serious flaws"" where he probably means the police are at fault.
However, without knowing the full facts, I would say that he and his family are also responsible for these killings in that they should have reported the killer to the police ages ago. They could see what the killer was like so why did they not do something or anything? Maybe they did?
Call me naive, as no doubt some of you will, but we should all take action when confronted by something like this. However,I seem to recall some spurious reporting of gunowners by people just out to cause mischief but a small price to pay to have stopped these murders.
I do wander what the killer would have done if he did not have gun access? Carving knife? Hewing axe? Nothing?
