SMLE advice
I am thinking about getting a SMLE as I do not like the Enfield’s with the battle sights I much prefer ramp sights.
So I am wanting to pick the brains of the forum members as to which is the best model to go for.
I would want adjustable wind age rear sights.
Magazine cut off
Preferably more than 2 grove models
Thanks

Re: SMLE advice
I haven't got the knowledge to recommend a specific model for your criteria - but just to let you know that windage adjustable rear sights are reasonably inexpensive and available for the SMLE - I got some off of eblag for my Lithgow...they seem to be about 5 inches of movement per click at 200 yards.

A No1 Mk111 has what you want but good ones are getting scarce, I'd just look for decent No1 Mk111*.
Strictly speaking the MK111* should have neither the cut off or windage adjustable rear sights, however there is the theory and then the practice. Most of the interwar BSA No1 Mk111* s I've had through my hands have had cutoffs. Windage adjustable rear sight are still fairly common, reasonable and easy to fit.
By two groove I assume that you mean the barrel, No1s had the standard 5 groove barrels, the two grooves were made for the No4s and were good accurate barrels but is unlikely that you would ever see one on a No1 as No1 and No 4 barrels are not really interchangeable.
What is your problem with the "Singer" aperture rear sight on the No 4. They are far easier to shoot that the No1 sights for most people, the "ghost" ring battle aperture is rarely used for target work although I do like it for fig 11 shooting.

Re: SMLE advice
Dromia,
From a young age I was taught to use ramped sights so there is a historic element to it.
I also find the ramped sights easier to use when hunting as I find gauging hold over can be acquired a lot faster.
Thank you for the advice based on the criteria I wanted the next things to do is put in for a variation and start saving the pennies.
