Re: Senghenydd rifle and pistol club
I had some happy days shooting at that club back in the day. I fully back any attempt at relaunching the club and suggest any other members or shooters in South Wales to help back the re-launch attempt when it begins.
Shooting is hard enough as it is without clubs shutting down!

Re: Senghenydd rifle and pistol club
my self and a few others, who by the way regularly used the club are constantly in touch with Christine, unfortunately there is no-one else to get in touch with, because the farmer, who we often speak to says he has no contact with Christine but he is willing to give the land, but he is not going to do the work required, thats down to the members
I think maybe Christine should call a meeting to everyone who is willing to get together and iron out whats needed and who is going to do the work, also to find the cost

Viv. If you want you can count myself,Steve Lewis, and Julian Jenkins as interested, but I`m sure Christine knows that as we phone her often enquiring about the range
Re: Senghenydd rifle and pistol club
My club would give our collective "eye teeth" for our own range.....
I can't believe this one is standing idle.....

In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

I've just joined the site . I joined Sengenydd club just before it closed , Christine didn't mention anything about the farmer dilemma . I would be very interested in joining the club again and in offering my assistance in anyway with regards to setting up the club . I live 5 mins from the old ground and didn't get a chance to use it especially after the ditch was dug and with the logging trucks.
