Sorry, never used one but I know these are intended for pull throughs not for rods.
Id say stick to what we all know works well - rod with brush and jag.

Yeah, but, no, but.
I quite agree, especially with some C2R
I didn't have any plans on using one, especially dont like the idea of dragging all the crud back into the throat/breech and knackering the crown to boot, which is how I gather they are meant to be used. Although I am ready to be corrected on that
Seems a pricey gizmo with what would seem to be a short usable life.
