Fired Cases and Bullets via 1st Class Post
Hmmm - thought I'd check whether it's legal to send fired and deprimed cases and un fired FMJ bullets via 1st Class post?
Only a very small quantity (5 of each case/bullet) and obviously no primers/powder. They are not assembled as an inert round but are in the same envelope.
I'm assuming it is ok, as it's not by definition "ammunition" but equally don't want a visit from the local plod.
I must add that I'm not in the habit of sending my valuable reloading consumables but a relative wants to make up a few inert rounds for display.
Thanks in advance.

Excellent. Thanks.

Caveat: It's legal but always check terms and conditions of the carrier. Royal Mail has a nasty habit of getting Laws and Statutes changed to suit its own ends.

I made a simple label which I stick on any I send,
There's room for all Gods creatures, next to the mash and gravy :)
