Very seriously considering an .22LR AR15 variant from NW Custom Parts.

Anyone have one, what is your experience of it? any????

Hi Sendit,

are you ready for the flood of, get a lantac a lot better, or CMMG are great ..............

Seriously I have a Spikes and its a lovely bit of kit, my Dad have one too again no problems with either. Some people will give bad reports about customer service but mine with NWCP has been second to none, I don't think he suffers fools gladly, but hey I am the same.

Promo bit - Spikes rock, a lot better than LanTac Ravens, CMMG or Bradley Arms :)

Serious Bit - it does what it says on the tin, you want a tack driver go for bolt action, what a fun bit of kit then off you go and buy one.

Phone or go see Wayne at NWCP. Do the same for Paul at Lantac and then make your choice. If Spikes have sorted out the quality issue with the 22 bolts then great.

Personally, I'd go to Lantac.

My spikes was one that had the bolt quality issue but Wayne swapped it with no quibbles at all. From what I understand they have sorted there quality control issues and gone for a more standard bolt configuration. Saying that we have not issues with either of ours.

As Mike says speak to Paul and Wayne.

As suggested, call Wayne@NWCP, Paul@Lantac and Mark@Bradley arms and make your decision from there.

The spikes is good, the CMMG is good, the lantac is good, and the bradley arms is good. Personally, i'd go with Lantac or Bradley arms depending on who could get it to me quickest.

I had a go with my mates and it performed well except his mag release is too long and the catch slips down if pushed too far.

I have one and love it. Personally I think the external build quality is better than a CMMG but you don't get the bolt hold open as standard (although you can fit it) I found Wayne to be very helpful and always quick with emails which I found Lantac to be slow on/ no reply (they're probably great on the phone though) You pays your money and takes your choice..

It's a 10" Spikes SAR rail and 12.5" walther match barrel (which is recessed into the reciever about 1.5")

It's been pretty flawless so far!
