When the bean counters got involved and took their SA80's off them and replaced them with G36's at the same time as replacing their Brownings with Glocks, some bright spark thought it was a much better idea to replace two weapons with one..... Yep, seen that before.
Non of the MoD lads I've spoken with have a kind word about their MP7's. And those deployed to Afghanistan...... took G36's and Glocks.
Strange thing is only said airport has them? No-one else does
The P90 also beat the carp out of the MP7 in the NATO trials...the only reason why 5.7 x 28mm was never adopted was because Germany VETO'd it...because Heckler was their home grown company :roll:
