Have a look at www.valkyrierifles.com - Dave is about the best Dura Coater I've seen.

Neither rifle is away yet! Blue-printing and 5 colour dura-coating = £££'s! I'm a lowly civil servant and it takes time to build up my back-handers :?

Thanks for the offer Overpaa, however, if i was going down i'd want my own toys to play with - not saying i wouldn't be wanting a go of yours of course . . . . I'll just have to wait and see what the situation is closer to the time

My RM10/22 is with Valkyrie Rifles now. I'll post pictures when it arrives back in H&K Satin Black!

That is the exact colour I had a barrel finished in.

I like the "flat" matte colours but apparently they mark really easily and that would make me cry.

H&K Satin Black I'm told also has PTFE in it to reduce friction which has to be a good thing in a semi auto.

I still want a tactical rifle finished in matte black though!

I had my Savage, Leupold, rings and base Dura coated, shouldn't have bothered.......... not very "dura"!
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Guns dont kill people. Dads with pretty Daughters do...!

Depends who does it and the preparation. My 10/22 wasn't originally sand blasted and the duracoat flaked off, hence I got it cheap. It's being done properly this time.
