Wouldn't be surprised to find out that there is a fair bit of North Korean 7.62x39 out there too !!

Actually I would expect the N Koreans to be hanging on to what they have unless they are exchanging it for other items. I would expect the number of 7,62x39 rounds in transit at any time around the world to extend to the billions...
