Bisley tomorrow
bit of a Hail Mary this one, but is anyone at Short Siberia tomorrow? I need to get a 100 yrd Zero on my .308 and was going to the Zero range, (if open) but would appreciate if someone could put a couple of rounds onto paper to double check it. Sorry about the short notice, but just had a phone call and my scope was last used at 300yrds. Ken
Re: Bisley tomorrow
Just come down 4 minutes from your 300yd elevation and you should be good to go. Why would you need some one else to shoot your rifle for you to check?
I'll be at 600yds.

And when the Range Safety Compliance Officer is watching, it might not be a good idea to advertise that you might not fully understand the relationship between sight settings and distance.

Re: Bisley tomorrow
Ian,perhaps I didn't explain things too well,if it was a case of shooting at paper I wouldn't be worried about being an inch or two off POA, however on live targets I am possibly over cautious about things being on, and I have just had a very late invitation to some stalkiing. Steve, I can reset the scope to it's 100 zero, however I would like to confirm for my own peace of mind that it is "on" as to someone else shooting the rifle, it seemed less cheeky than pushing in on someone elses range time smile2IainWR wrote:And when the Range Safety Compliance Officer is watching, it might not be a good idea to advertise that you might not fully understand the relationship between sight settings and distance.

Re: Bisley tomorrow
thanks, but all I need is to confirm the 100 yd zero, and for that Short siberia would be ideal, the zero range as a second choice.TJC wrote:Kenny,
