Loading ammo and casting booolits!

Cast about 800 44 240gn out of a 4 cavity Saeco mould.
Loaded 50 rounds of 7.5 x 55 for my K11 using 185gn gascheck lead from a Lee 6 cavity custom mould and A5744.
Loaded 50 rounds of 303 as above!
Loaded 50 rounds of 41 mag using 220grn Remington FMJ`s and W296.
Loaded 50 rounds of 7.62x39 using N120 and W296 and S&B 123GN FMJ`s.
I want to compare these to Tula surplus for accuracy out to 200 yards.
Have got 200 yards on SS at Bisley on saturday as first club shoot of the year.
Loaded 400 rounds of 41mag for 50 metre shooting.
Loaded 400 rounds of 44mag for 50 metre shooting.

Will have a gun cleaning day tommorow.

Crikey, you have been busy!

We had a "let's get everything out" session Monday, counted everything, moved some things around to make room for other things. It was quite satisfying :good:

Preparing the first draft of the 2013 Bisley Bible, ably assisted by Karen who does the actual amendments in a sophisticated publishing program. Also failing miserably to assist a member who arrived at Heathrow with 2 rifles and not-quite-perfect paperwork and presented the Customs officer with something he'd never seen before (sigh). We will get it sorted in a day or two when the right people are back at work.

Why didn't you just tell the Customs chappie he (the member) was a thoroughly good egg and that he (the Customs chappie) needn't concern himself with anything other than looking for bad eggs? He (the member) was a good egg, wasn't he?

Errr...

Tried that, the guy is Canadian and thus about as nice as they come. Customs are working in an expertise vacuum and did what seemed sensible. While I know they are wrong I understand their viewpoint, there is no point in antagonising the officer on duty, and we will sort it when the world gets back to work.

I think I can safely say my day was better than yours!
Which is a novelty for me as something usually goes wrong such are the joys of being self employed!

....restocking the cupboards after the break. Managed to get all the way from the 23rd to today with just one quick run for some milk! Happy with that as I HATE fighting my way round Sainsburys. bangbang bangbang

I also put together a 1/8 sixed AI model that I'm planning to mount on a plinth for a club trophy. :shakeshout:

The model is interesting Heather.
Any details as I have thought about using them as prizes.
Cheers,
Tony
