The Great Gunshop Tour

Had a good experience with a gun shop or rifle maker? Found a good deal? Tell us about it. Had a bad experience, TELL THE GUN SHOP!

Forum rules
Posting of negative comments in the Gunshop section could bring unwanted criticism on the forum, having said that it is important to let members know if dealings with a Gunshop were less than ideal for you. To that end we will allow what will be known as the 'Scotsgun Ruling'

The Scotsgun Ruling:

>Add Gun Shop here<

"As I've yet to have a 'positive' experience there, I'll refrain from commenting further."

Beyond that please take it up with the Gunshop, if you do resolve the issue in a agreeable manner let us know!

This rule applies to the entire forum.

Pukka Bundhooks, Chester le Street, Hannams, Lantac at Harrogate and Reloading Solutions for starters!
It's not the pace of life that concerns me, it's the sudden stop at the end!

Quite a few near me:

Northampton Gun - 6 MINS J15 M1
R&K Stockcraft - 20 MINS J15 M1
Donaldsons - 15 MINS J14 M1

Reloading Solutions is a fair way off your route but a cracking shop.

I wouldn't hold your hopes up of finding much between Dumfries and Edinburgh, this area of Scotland isn't very comprehensively catered for.

Maybe check here:

Roding Armoury, Silver Street, Romford, Essex RM4 1YA. This is the postal address but it is in the village of Abridge, between the Blue Boar and the Roding Restaurant
Worth a visit, tiny shop but good gunsmiths and will chat about anything gun related. Run by John and Phil. Worth a call first as hours have been restricted due to illness 01992 813 570.
