Any body had any experience with Norma 168grain match bullets in .308 calibre.
Any recipes for this weight bullet in .308 would be appreciated.

Stick 43-46 grains of varget under it and seat to industry COL , and shoot away ! I used these years ago and much like the 168matchking and 168 Amax along with the 167 scenar it's quite an unfussy bullet in 308.
They all shot to the same poi at 100m for me in my 308 but required slightly different elevation charts for extended range but from memory it wasn't much ?

Oh , my pet load is 46g but that's max so start low and work up to find your sweet spot

My Steyr loves 39 of Varget, 41 of N140 or 42 of TR140 behind 168 A-Max or Nosler Custom Competition, same loads also shoot very nicely in the Howa 1500 20" heavy varmint barrel

There's room for all Gods creatures, next to the mash and gravy :)

Thanks what type of Steyr are you loading for. I have loads of Vitavouri powders but very little else. Vitavouri is readily available were I live any other powders are difficult to source.

SSG-04 with the Heavy Barrel (HB) 600 mm (23,6") the A-Max and Noslers will do .5moa or better with the right shooter, I've got disabilities which prevent me from getting into a comfortable stable position when lying prone, Ponteland range has foxholes but being 6'5" that's not a comfortable option either!.
I'm hoping to get to Calton Moor at some point next year and hire one of the indoor 100yd tunnels so I can sit and do some better load development for it.
Range dates up here in the North are few and far between. Problem (for me) is that driving that far will be very painful, from what I can find there are also 100yd tunnel ranges at Leek in Staffs (similar distance) and Stead Hall rifle and pistol club who are nearer but I can't see anything on their site about hiring a tunnel.
