I would go with a truncated cone of 250 grs.In a 45 ACP you are subsonic all you need is a lot of elevation and
a fast twist.

I've got the old USAF dewsign boolit mould in TC around 230gr - loved it in my old Colt 45 ACP National Match (NOT Gold Cup) - great for the skittle shoots too.
