Which semi??

Re: Which semi??
What do you need it for? The 10/22 always gets good coverage and is infinitely customisable as well with many after market parts available however for a good semi on a budget there is always Magtech.
Re: Which semi??
I had a Marlin, and I felt the build quality was junk.bangers wrote:got a slot on my ticket for one but which is best and worst

So I set out to buy the best I could find, and sourced a Walther GSP carbine, which I get on well with.

Well thats a hard one!! as the model said to the bishop

a bit of plinking, target work, maybe even mini gun comps
a good all rounder i have looked at a 1022 and they look good but i`ve been told they do need work to get the best out of um also the new cz 512 but im looking for advice many have said i should just stick with my bolt action as semi`s are just to much trouble with jamming all the time but i want one
Re: Which semi??
In that case, you clearly need a Ruger 1022.bangers wrote:ovenpaa wrote:What do you need it for?

A Volquartsen build 10-22....
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Re: Which semi??
I could not recommend a Remington 597 had too many problems with one!
Re: Which semi??
I've had a Remmy 597 since 2003, fired many 1000s of rounds through it and NEVER had a misfeed, or failure of any kind. It works all day and is a darn sight better than the 10/22 that I had before.Sendit wrote:I could not recommend a Remington 597 had too many problems with one!
I'll not be parting with my Remmy.
