How to win friends and influence people

#1 Post by majordisorder »

So I took a trip to a gun show today in Gainesville, GA. Lots of toys to play with.

After that I felt a need to go to the range so went along to Quick Shot where I went through a few of their rentals bangbang

Started off with a nice Glock 21 in .45ACP

Then a Sig P2022 in 9mm

Had to try a Glock 17 also in 9mm

And then this Beretta also in 9mm

Then the icing on the cake was this 5.56 AR-15

Now do I nip back tomorrow for a rematch :flag13:

Yes! 'Nuff said.
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Guns dont kill people. Dads with pretty Daughters do...!

Looks like you are having a good time :shakeshout:

Is that a drum for a tommy gun lying on the table and a tommy gun next to it?

Do you know what the long rifle lying in the middle of the table is, sorta bronze coloured on the picture? Springfield maybe?

Nice finger tongueout

Did I see a Dixie Gunworks cannon in the pics? I've always lusted after one of those.

Did you like the Beretta? I tried one in Canada once and loathed it.

Love the others :goodjob:

Christel, the long rifle is a civillian model of some sort. Looks to be perhaps a 50 cal kentucky rifle, but not a Springfield.

Yup a Tommy and Drum. (Chicago Typewriter)

I spent $250 dollars in just over an hour at DFW Gun Range a few years back.
Walked out with nothing but a huge grin

I googled the 50 cal and it sure does look like one of those.
