He did say something interesting though when i asked if he shot, he used to be a pistol shooter and we chatted about the withdrawl of them... he seems to be of the opinion that they "MAY" be brought back, infact he has his application written out already :shock:

Who knows eh :o

We could hope for the best of course however too many incidents lately for that to be reintroduced me thinks.

At the risk of being flamed I am not convinced pistol shooting has a place within our society at present. Yes I do shoot pistol to this day so I am lucky in that respect but frankly it holds no fascination any more and after a couple of hundred rounds I go back to the long stuff.

In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Guns dont kill people. Dads with pretty Daughters do...!

All but my lever guns would go to fund a "new pistol" project.......
