Obama and guns,what to expect!

#1 Post by mag41uk »

Got this link from the High Road org:

http://townhall.com/columnists/katiepav ... gun_owners

This is a valid link and hope its ok to share.

Somewhere along the way gun owners around the world will be affected by this if only in massive price increases!

Some of the comments are interesting.

When I went to bed Romney was winning by 30 votes and the screen was awash in states turning red. Really thought victory was being snatched from the jaws of defeat.

As for legislation well I expect some Clinton-esque assault weapons ban, but I don't think he has the time, resources, and enough legitimacy from below to impose Californian like measures across the whole US. We forget how ingrained he gun is within US culture, the anti-guns aren't as popular as they tell you. Rising CCW figures indicate that many Americans don't feel safe and I think that will trend will grow. And I expect taxes to on FFL transfers and over the counter purchases. But only in the $25 to $50 dollar range.

I don't think US gun owners would have been safe with either candidate, don't forget Romney supported the Clinton 'assault' weapon ban too, which is quite a statement for a Republican.

The clean up of Sandy and the continuing economic crisis might be enough to keep the focus off gun control, but its unlikely that nothing will be proposed :bad:

ALL wrong, UN gun ban is STILL ongoing and Clinton will see to it.

Obummer will happly decimate hundrds of thousands of jobs in the shooting sports industry to get his way...Only ones who will benefit will be criminals.

Congress will be staffed by Obummer bumboys and girls and "executive orders" etc will be the order of the day..the yanks have shot themselves in the foot..literally!

Fast and Furious is still grounds for him to be impeched, along with arresting Holder, Clinton and all the others who condoned gun running to Mexican drug cartels.

Bill Clinton was removed for getting a bolow job - and no one died..obama ha sblood on his hands and no one is doing anything about him or his cronies.

did lol at this comment

The price of AR's and AK's just went through the roof. Regardless, we will see another ten million sold within months. They will be buried in remote locations, awaiting the day of their dire need to restore this Republic once and for all, taking it back from the New Black Pansy Party and their jihadi brothers. When will Patriotic Americans finally realize what is being done to them and decide to do something about it? Obama will move at light speed now to do all he wanted to do during his first term. This boy ain't playin'. We will now see the real Barack Hussein Obama or Barry Soetoro or whatever his name really is and he's not known for playing nicely with others. We ain't seen nothin' yet!

Well I've just got back from buying powder from the local gun shop and I've just had a look around my usual on line haunts, I'm not seeing any prices "going through the roof". So where exactly is this taking place?

I have just emailed The President, I have asked him if he will reduce the restrictions on 'recreational shooters' importing reloading components to the UK.
