Posting of negative comments in the Gunshop section could bring unwanted criticism on the forum, having said that it is important to let members know if dealings with a Gunshop were less than ideal for you. To that end we will allow what will be known as the 'Scotsgun Ruling'

The Scotsgun Ruling:

>Add Gun Shop here<

"As I've yet to have a 'positive' experience there, I'll refrain from commenting further."

Beyond that please take it up with the Gunshop, if you do resolve the issue in a agreeable manner let us know!

Midway, Sinclairs, all Fu^&ing crap

#1 Post by 20series »

Not a happy camper **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** ****

A few months ago myself and Mas36 put an order into Midway UK for some stuff, now we all know the usual crap service from them and they didn't disappoint

They lost the first order, the bits that were "in stock" all had to be back ordered from the US. then we waited and waited finally the box arrived that only contained a tin of Imperial lube! eventually the other stuff arrived only for the one thing I need (a .308 diameter Titanium Nitride bushing) was a .303 steel **** **** **** **** they are supposedly sorting but I'm not holding my breath and I can't reload any of my .284 cases.

So I decided to order the bushing from Sinclairs, $23 so not bad +postage price to be added at dispatch, well I just go the final invoice and they've charged $37 shipping wtfwtf wtfwtf wtfwtf wtfwtf wtfwtf wtfwtf wtfwtf for an item that weighs a couple of ounces and would happily fit in a small match box kukkuk :cool2: :cool2: :cool2: :cool2: :cool2: :cool2:

I have emailled back to them explaining to them my bewilderment but I don't suppose they give a flying F**K

I Only use Midway as a last resort, everything comes from states, the .UK tag is just an excuse to bump up the prices and hopeless service. Sinclairs however , for me at least, have offered excellent service, its HMRC and their delays that make things a pain.

Cheers phil

I must be the only person that hasn't had a problem with MidwayUK! I hope I haven't jinxed things for myself by saying that. fingerscrossed The last order was on time and complete - I did try and order from UK companies but nobody had what I was looking for. If they did, they where quoting courier postage which makes it cheaper to order from MidwayUK.

Get a US shipping address Alan!

I've had trouble with Sinclair recently. They would not ship me an AR-15 Armourers tool (A spanner!) yet will happily ship me 50BMG brass! (Just ordered some 50BMG bullets - lets see if they arrive - they are after all just bits of metal!

You can quite easily get a US shipping address. A quick google returned this:

http://www.shipito.com/

I'm sure there are many others too...just need a USA credit card/bank account for some suppliers and you're all set!
