There was talk of the Old Warden railway tunnel being converted into a shooting range, but apparently it would need lining with concrete so was instantly cost prohibitive. This is not far from where you highlighted.

errrr...

When I panned out and found I was right next to Sleaford Tech, which I know from running round too much of it is in Lincolnshire, I began to wonder.

Thinks I "fifty-three oh-three. Maybe try fifty-TWO oh three?"

And there it was, stop butt in a railway cutting, just next to Biggleswade / Old Warden.
