I have been commissioned to do a run of 8 bore brass cartridges and will be making a start in a couple of weeks time. If anyone is interested in some I can add some to the end of the run and the more I build the cheaper they will be.
The cartridges will be available either as single units, or in multiples of five or ten with discounts for volume so if you have an interest (No commitment at this stage) please let me know, I will update the post with a price once I know how many to build.
These cases will be polished, annealed and come with engraved head stamps 'Shooting SHED 8 bore' and I can build them with specific head stamps at a small extra cost per unit.
I will be adding 10 bore at a later date and I am considering adding obscure and difficult to obtain rifle brass to the list if there is enough interest.

I'm in for 10 bore and 14 bore cases, especially 14 bore.
I am assuming that these are lathe turned?

Dromia, yes they are machined, how many of each would you be interested in?

Dear Sir
I read with interest that you may have made up 8-bore brass cases. Any chance of being able to make up some for me? I notice that you shoot at Barton Road, which is not too far for me.
Kind regards
Anthony Kukielski

Hi Anthony, welcome to the forum.
I need to make some more next month so I can certainly machine a few extra, how many would you need? It is probably best to email me david at shootingshed.co.uk

Dave,
Strangely enough I have just been researching 12 gauge brass cartridges with no success when I thought I would return to th forum and see what the replies were to my 12 gauge bench rest topic, and there is a old reply to your topic that I had not originally seen.
I guess you have made a few of these now, how much are they coming out at? I would envisage buying 100 x 12 gauge cartridges at 3"
I can not imagine that anyone would want to shoot more than 50 in one days shooting!
Do you make the whole case or do you just make a brass sleeve to fit in the brass caps?
Dave

Hi DM, I only build the whole item and you have a choice of SG primer or Large Rifle primer if you want to experiment with primers. Cost is down to the price of brass and this does seem to be going back up at the moment. I will check the brass costs first so I can give you a proper quote for the 100.
