Arrgghhh! how difficult!

#1 Post by M99 »

Spent the last two days trying to buy an AR 15 Armorer's tool from the states - can't get anyone who will ship to the uk - it is only a spanner!!

Midway Uk want £68 for one - I can get one (or can't as it stands!!) from the US for around $20!!

Anyone know of somewhere in the US that has them and will ship them?

In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Just bear in mind, if you source it from the U.S. and they sent it with any sort of customs declaration on the package, you're going to have duty and VATto pay on top of the postage (which will be at least £10-15):

If sent by USPS it will probably arrive via Parcelforce who will add their handling fee to all of that (£15 I think).

So $20 might turn into £50-£60 pretty easily.

Nope, all done and customs paid for $54 US.

Which is less than half of the UK price.

Only if the cost was over £18 (~$28) so provided they had only declared the item cost on te package and postage paid separately it would have been fine.
