Where's good to advertise a rifle for sale - apart from here
My TMR1 has got to go and I need to advertise it more widely now. It's listed here, I'm going to list it at my club website, but I need to face up to advertising it more widely. I'm kinda out of the loop so am not completely familiar with where's a good place to advertise and where's not at present. I'm probably more interested in online advertising than in magazines. What I don't want is to have to list it as a Remington when in fact it is a Riflecraft product.
So, I'm asking for tips and advice based on your current experiences please: PM me if you'd prefer.

I have sold a couple of things through GT in the past, it works as it gets the exposure.

I would go for Gunstar, over the past year we have sold rifles and shot guns on the site. No problems and you can post upto 5 pictures.

Thanks guys. I have used GT in the past with mixed results and whilst I haven't yet tried to post the ad for this rifle, it was GT I had in mind when thinking that I didn't want just to post it as "Remington" when clearly it is more than that.

Also try http://www.gunwatch.co.uk a very busy site too.

Thanks for the input all. I've decided to give Gunstar a try for the rifle. I decided that for books, free listing on EBay would get me a much wider potential audience. It's still taken me an hour and a half of effort to list about half of the books I'm ready to let go. Skennerton and a dozen others to be listed over the next week or so... tesnews sign92
