Bitten ...

Badly bitten on my thumb and index finger with several lacerations that bled for 20 minutes!
What did it? A 17lb salmon that I was try to remove the hook from.

Aye you should have used a priest first..or are you the new style angler that throws them back in ?

Rules are: First returned, second can be kept, third returned ...&c The culprit had to be returned.
This one is around 15lb ...

I know someone who had a pike do that to his hand. The people who treated the wounds found it funny for some reason

A nice size salmon ...
About 19lb ... and returned as she is almost ready to spawn. For comparison, the forceps in the picture are 135mm long

I don't know much about Salmon (Carp fisherman) - Are the two fish in the photos the same species (was the first one a male?)?....and what is the preference for eating, between species/sexes?
