There used to be, according to the NRA website, a cunning scheme for getting access to a target for an hour at certain weekends. But there are no dates for this now, did it not work out and has been consigned to history?

It ran on the electronic targets, so the marginal cost of putting it on was nil. The electronic targets are currently kaput, so we would be risking the markers wages on enough people turning up to make it pay.

That said, there are ways to make it happen and if we felt the demand was reliable enough we would do it. Is there consistent demand?

Remember that an NRA member may shoot on any target at all on Bisley, provided that the person booking it agrees. So, if you want a short session, take a walk down the firing point and just ask. By about 1145 most mornings and 1645 most afternoons, most clubs will happily sell a bit of space on their booking as their members thin out, probably for a lot less than its actual value if you calculated it pro rata.

Manually marked Range Office Targets worked before during and after the electronic ones.

There is no good reason why they cannot be made to work now.
