PPU primers too large?

Was doing some reloading today (303) and started on a pack of PPU primers, but found they appear to be a tiny bit too large. They're not sitting squarely in the pocket despite repeated attempts to seat them and was wondering if anyone else has experienced this?
The cases are PPU,are clean along with the pocket too so i know i've done everything right my end.Normally i use Winchester primers which i've never had any problems with, but PPU was all the shop had at the time.

PPU primers have hard cups and I suspect that they are not quiet seated fully hence being askew.
I really like them as they are some of the most consistent primers out there ans I like them for my long range rifle loads but I do have to seat them on the press to get the leverage, hand held priming tools won't do it for me with PPU primers.

I suggest a bit more leverage. Be sure to wear eye and ear protection along with bicycle clips.
I need to use my Redding Ultramag to seat them, the T7 won't do it.

-i'll be hanging off the lever at this rate.
When the first one didnt seat correctly i popped the primer out and recleaned the pocket because i presumed i'd missed one,but this got repeated another 6 times.
Oh,well i'll have another bash at it tomorrow. Thanks Adam.

If you can get a bit of pipe to fit over the handle that should do it.
“Give me a place to stand and with a lever I will move the whole world.”
Seriously though with enough foostle they seat OK, I've never had one go off.

Still a bit confused with the bicycle clips though.Am i obliged to use a few ferrets for extra leaverage and they're to prevent them going up my trouser legs? Would wearing lycra help?

No lycra would definitely not help.
The bicycle clips are to help contain any accidental fecal matter that may occur due to the surprise of a primer going off.

Alternately-use a cork.

I had problems getting CCI LR primers into some Winchester brass (of dubious quality) - so I tried the 'more leverage method' - as the Rock-chucker seats a primer on the reverse stroke, I ended up with my shoulder under the press lever....I wore safety glasses, muffs and a massive cringe on my face....forgot the bicycle clips though....
