There was a discussion about bench vices, I couldn't remember the name of the one I use for minor works.
It is this one

I bought it direct from Gottfried at the Nuremburg how about four years ago.

You are in England and as such should speak/spell in the Queen's English. It is a
VICE.
It is only those inbred former corrupting colonials who misspell it as vise.
