Repainting a McMillan Stock

Peeps
I have seen a rifle that I might buy which is in a light camo pattern finished McMillan A3 stock, is it possible to doa proper job of repainting it?

That is assuming the camo pattern on the stock is smooth, if it is raised it adds a bit more work. Dave Wylde can Cerakote or Duracote or you could do your own Hydrographic transfer work if you fancy a bash at something unusual. You can get many unusual finishes.

Is there a supplier in the UK selling HG kits now ? I know they have been available in the USA but it seemed to licensed over here and only certain dealers could get hold of the equipment and materials required ,

I'm not sure if I feel comfortable with my skills in doing stuff myself, I'd sooner get someone to do it who has the required kit and talent.
Until I find out what's occuring with work it's all a bit a of a fact finding project, but it could be kind of fun.

A well known auction site lists quite a few kits and my understanding is all you need is a suitable tank with water in, possibly a small frame and some masking tape and activator.

riflecraft now does cerakote and i think duracote ? they have set up a large oven/spraybooth in there new premises?
give them a ring and see what they can do ?

I tried that but they wouldnt send to UK , I will have another look to see if things have changed .
