I'll be turning 40 in a few weeks wtfwtf unfortunately at the same time I'll be recovering from a sinus operation (you have to love the NHS for crap timing!!) :cool2: ****

I woke up yesterday and decided to treat myself to a long awaiting new toy as an early birthday pressy :shakeshout:

So I popped down to my preffered local toy shop and purchased a brand new Marlin 357 under lever bangbang

As it stands it's bog standard but I think a new peep sight and some work on the action and springs will soon follow clapclap

Good job! Shall we see you at The Phoenix next year? This cowboy gun shooting stuff is mighty addictive.

Is it brand new? For the best of both worlds, check out the Williams Ace In the Hole sight at SYSS. I have one and it's excellent.

Yes Mike brand new and as stiff as hell!!

I saw the Williams on SYSS website last night and I'll be in touch with Roger this week as I also want a spring and firing pin

As for comps I'll see how it goes

I know a chap that modifies the carrier to stop the Marlin "drop" that leads to double feeds...

ANYWAY - not a bad purchase, but distinctly lacking in Winchester appeal

just google it, it would appear mines a Remington!

It had REP on the right hand side of the barrel sign01 hopefully it'll not be a complete disaster, although it came with a bent forend sight blade!!
