I saw this AR-15 and immediately thought of Dromia, at last an AR-15 for the more discerning shooter that doesn't like plastic. Oh and if the thermould magazines aren't to ones taste there are plenty of metal ones out there for sale.

Really? Walnut furniture and case coloured upper and lower...?

I'm afraid I'm with Dromie on this one - although a slight improvement, it still looks (and probably feels) like a toy - I've seen some nice FALs (I think that's what their called?) with nice wooden stocks and fore-ends...and that's probably where I'd draw the line...

I like that. I've always wanted a "steam punk" AR rifle. With wood and brass, and that's a good start, .
