Well, I've had my licence a few weeks now so thought I'd best get round to putting some rifles on it, I picked up a really nice .303 No5 today and can't wait to get it on the range :shakeshout:

Good looking rifle, I should try and persuade Christel to get one.. What ammunition are you going to put through it?

Going to use prvi 174gr until I start to reload, it's the main ammo I've found available round my way

I think I prefer the PPV brass over S&B for when you get to the point you want to reload plus PPV bullets are copper over lead unlike the S&B which are copper washed steel over lead.

An interesting first choice

...but then any Enfield is a good choice...
Privi is ok - then just neck size the once-fired cases when you get round to loading for better accuracy.

Good that'll save you some dosh when you start reloading - but don't let me confuse/tell you wrong when I'm talking about how to size the cases (ones shot in another rifle will need to be full length sized) - when you start ask another reloader about how to prep your cases...I got most of my info on .303 loading (last year) from this forum.

Cheers Dougan, I shoot with 20 series so sure he'll point me in the right direction when I start reloading
just need my .308 and .22rf to come then I can put in for a variation and get a no 4 and Mauser  I like the classics
