Has anyone tried this froglube stuff?
I hate cleaning guns, so anything that can make that chore easier will get my credit card out!!

We use it a lot and I really like it. I especially like the fact that it is clean and safe to work with.

It is also now available in wipes so easy to keep in the pocket etc.

I am about to strip my 10/22 and lube with some Frogs ahead of a comp this weekend in Aberdeen so will post results next week. However in I put a tiny amount on the lee turret press when I was loading some 44, turret rotation is smooth as silk and it smells great!

I've recently done my 10/22 and so far with about 300 rounds and not a hitch,i'd say the gun is cleaner too. It's easy to do and as Mike says smells better. The marlin will get the treatment after sundays comp.

I bought some frog lube the other day as I have heard good things. It particularly interested me as I have OCD and a fear of toxic chemicals!! FL is made from food grade ingredients so no worries about getting it on your hands. It does not damage plastics/polymers either which allows you to be a little less anal with application. I heated my rifles metal areas with a big pink hairdryer and applied the lube as directed. It smells nice and applies a bit like sun tan lotion as it seems to absorb into the metal itself. Removed a lot of carbon and gunk and left the rifle looking shinier than ever. Time will tell in terms of protective qualities. I shall update in a couple of weeks detailing progress. So far I am very impressed. I usually use hopped/Napier/parkerhale so it has a lot to live up to..
