I am looking for somewhere that sells tracer bullets in 223 as I fancy trying a few. The next question would Vit N140 powder burn warm enough to ignite the tracer?

Do ranges permit such pretty things to be fired ? Might they be construed as a danger to Elves and therefore banned?

You won't be able to use on ranges due to the risk of fire. I definately wouldn't use on private land either.

Peter Lawman used to sell them.

You can use them on MOD field firing ranges :good: I've not seen anywhere that just sells bullets, but York Guns had plenty of complete rounds last time i was in there. Mind they were nearly twice the price of normal milsurp :bad:

Does using Tracer cartridges leave anything nasty in the barrel I wonder?

They are dirty but I've found normal cleaning to be fine , I wouldn't shoot tons of the stuff though , but having said that I have no real reason or evidence not to?
