Does anyone know the component makeup of PPU 303 ammo?

I normally shoot reloads but shot some Privi today and it was a lot more accurate through my No4

cheers Alan

I'd chrono it, see what its doing.

Also pull a bullet and see if its the same as the one they sell, probably is.

well I normally shoot 40gns Vit 140, with a 174 canularred bullet

I've just been FL resizing some privi brass.

Ive just put a Simmons 1-5 Whitetail scope on my rifle with the intention of doing Mcqueens with it.

I was impressed with the groups I got. Tbh at £55 per 100 its hardly worth reloading

The bullet weight in the last one I pulled was 174.5gr and powder 39.6gr hope this helps.

I use H4895 38.5grs topped off with a 174gr SMK.

You having a laugh?

Reloading WILL save you £££ AND give you a more accurate round too!

It's a great extra aspect to the sport as well...

As much as I reload there are some rounds that it is not necessarily worth loading for and if you can get the required accuracy for 55p/bang then so be it.

100 .311 SMk's are going to cost you approaching GBP33/100 now add GBP3.30 for primers and then GBP20 for powder and you are still spending GBP55/100 and you have not supplied the brass yet. So if a factory round at the same price gives better results then great and you get to harvest brass as well :good:

I reload for my 308 & 284 producing as high spec results as I can. What I meant was For the amount of times I shoot the 303 it isnt necesarily worth the time taken
