I called into Bisley (as always) to see a few old friends and see what was new. It was much of the old contenders with stock getting older. Always pleasing to see new products and developments from people like Southern Gun Co. and Suffolk Rifle. I managed to pick up an ATI Strikemaster Tactical stock for my 10/22. I had been looking for one in the UK for sometime and US dealers were reluctant to export.
I also managed to find a "can" to make a .30 cal moderator out of.
So an hour and a half and sorted, glad I went, it's very rare for me to miss it.

I grabbed a real bargain of 230 shot once .223 R-P brass from SGC for GBP10, however they had nothing else on the stand at the time (Saturday)

I thought SGC would have had more goodies to dribble over. A solitary 9mm and a few bags of brass wasn't what I was expecting.

They had a superb looking AR10 but for some reason it was on the Midway stand.

A noticable vacancy was north west custom parts,and the knife stand,and mark bradleys stand........

Yeah, someone told me why Wayne was not there this year however I have forgot the reason now

I thought I saw Wayne shooting?

I think that one was Peter Starley's personal one - least, that's how Jim described it when I went to wave Enfield components at him...

SGC and Peter Starley are virtually joined at the hip , in fact i believe they are indeed family hence why the gun was on Midway

Did you? Maybe that was the reason why he did not have a stand?
